Safe Haven QOL
151 quality-of-life features for Necesse: build tools, blueprints, base protection, smarter settlers, bigger stacks and a lot more. Don't like one? Switch it off.
Highlights
A few of the things players use most. There are 151 in total, in 9 categories.
Builder Menu and Build Menu
Press ` for the build tools: area placement up to 5x5, shapes, a planning grid, an eraser and a replacement mode - plus a searchable catalog of every block in the game that pays from your settlement's chests.
Copy & Paste with blueprints
Copy any build, rotate or flip it and paste it somewhere else. Save it as a blueprint with a picture, swap its materials, or share it with the whole server.
Drawing Menu
Paint any tile any color. Drawings show on the map, and can be moved, saved to a library and shared with other players.
Base Protection
Make your settlement private and nobody else can build there, open your chests or touch your settlers. Let visitors in, mark chests public, or lock every chest against accidents.
Happiness tab and Furnish
See what every settler is missing, then press Furnish to place what their traits want, straight from your settlement's storage.
The Soulweaver
Buy this NPC from the Elder and swap your settlers' traits for coins.
Sorting Room
Paste a ready-made storage room of 98 chests that your settlers sort into, with the crafting stations in the middle.
Find My Items
Press Numpad 7, pick an item, and an arrow points you to the chest that holds it.
Bigger stacks
Coins stack to 9,999 and trinkets, scrolls, vinyls and boss summons to 99 - or let everything stack to 90,000.
New in 4.9
24 new options in this update. A few favorites:
Ride farm animals
Right-click a grown cow, pig, chicken or sheep - or a thrumbo - and ride it at the ostrich's speed.
NewThe Interest Bank
Buy it from the Elder for 5,000 coins. Coins that stay in its vault all day earn 37% interest.
NewFour inventory pages
Four pages of 40 slots, switched with the buttons beside your inventory.
NewMore info on hover
Hover a crop, a sapling, a machine or a settler to see more - including every trait a settler has.
NewMonster spawn view
Press Numpad 5 to mark every dark spot near you where monsters can spawn.
NewHunt Wild Traits
Press Numpad 8, pick the traits you want, and wild settlers that have them glow purple.
How it works
Subscribe
Get it from the Steam Workshop. On a server, the server and every player need it, on the same version.
Switch things off
The yellow [ SAFE HAVEN ] button on the main menu lists every option, with a search box. On a server, the server's own options decide for everyone.
